Thank you to all who participated in the 5th Anniversary Concert of the Boston Singers' Relief Fund on January 24, 2015!  We raised over $8000 for BSRF!

 The concert featured performances by Blue Heron, Boston Baroque, Handel and Haydn Society and Emmanuel Music with a special guest appearance by Ryan Turner of Emmanuel Music.   Read a reivew by Brian Jones of the Boston Intelligencer:

Founded in 2009 by Murray Kidd, the Boston Singers' Relief Fund is a BSR program which provides financial relief in a confidential, respectful manner to those in the singing community who have contributed significantly to the artistic life of New England and are facing job loss, illness or other catastrophic life events.

Mission Statement:
The Boston Singers’ Relief Fund provides financial relief in a confidential, respectful manner to those in the singing community who have significantly contributed to the artistic life of New England and are facing job loss, illness, catastrophic acts of nature, or other events such as vandalism or theft, and who have insufficient resources with which to handle such situations. The BSRF recognizes the essential value of singers to society and culture and treats all applicants with dignity, discretion, and compassion.
