The Singers' Voice
Gala Benefit Concert
October 3, 2009

On October 3, 2009, at the Church of the Covenant in Boston, over 50 of Boston's finest singers joined forces to raise money for the Boston Singers' Relief Fund. Musicians from the Handel & Haydn Society, Boston Baroque, Emmanuel Music, Opera Boston, Blue Heron, Tanglewood Festival Chorus and more performed works by Mendelssohn, Durufle, Lauridsen and Mechem, along with guest soloists Barbara Kilduff, soprano; Michael Calmés, tenor and Donald Wilkinson, baritone. Murray Kidd conducted. Timothy Steele and Fred MacArthur accompanied. Many thanks to all the performers, volunteers, donors, audience members, and concert committee members who borught this concert to life and helped us raise nearly $8,000 for the Boston Singers' Relief Fund.
